About Mrs. Thompson
Hello! If you have clicked on this tab you are either lost or would like to learn a bit more about me, Mrs. Thompson. First, I am a Carthage girl through and through. I went to Mark Twain Elementary School kindergarten through sixth grade. I then attended Carthage Junior High and Carthage High School.
After high school I attended Missouri Southern State University. During school I was a member of Alpha Chi and Kappa Delta Pi. I graduated Suma Cum Laude in May of 2012 and received my Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education. I received my Master's degree in Educational Leadership from William Woods University.
I currently live in Carthage and am married to my best friend. His name is Seth. I love daisies, dogs, and to read. My husband and I have two daughters. Our oldest is named Ava. She is an absolute hoot. Our youngest is named Ellie. She was born last school year and is currently surprising us each day with all she learns. In addition to our two human cuties, we also have a puppy named Archie. His favorite past time is eating rawhide and trying to sneak a nap on the couch. My favorite food is Mexican food. I could live at Lalo's in Joplin or El Charro if you let me. Last but not least, I love teaching at Fairview Elementary and seeing all my students grow as the year goes on.
